Despite ongoing strikes in Hollywood, three popular daytime talk shows, “The View,” “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” and “The Talk,” are set to return to studios. “The View” has already started its 27th season without its writers, using cue cards instead. “The Jennifer Hudson Show” is coming back without its WGA writers, but plans to bring them back once a new contract is established. “The Talk” went on hiatus during the strike and will return without its writers. These shows are able to continue without writers because they operate under the network code and have SAG-AFTRA members as hosts.
