Chloe Bailey, known as Chlöe, made her solo debut on NPR’s “Tiny Desk” concert series, performing songs from her new album “In Pieces.” She delivered a dynamic mini-concert lasting just under 20 minutes. Bailey showcased her sinuous voice and performed six songs, including one non-album single. She dedicated a song to her ex-boyfriends, and despite a missing background singer, her voice flourished. Bailey’s backup band consisted of talented musicians, including trumpeter Cameron Johnson and musical director Derek Dixie. This marks Bailey’s second appearance on the “Tiny Desk” series, with her first performance alongside her sister Halle Bailey three years ago.
