Florida A&M University (FAMU) head coach Willie Simmons acknowledged the challenge his team faces as they go up against the University of West Florida, a Division II powerhouse. FAMU, a traditional football powerhouse, will be honoring their legendary alum, Ken Riley, as they play their first game on the newly renamed Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium. Despite a loss in their previous game, FAMU has shown strong performances from quarterback Jeremy Moussa and linebacker Isaiah Major. However, they will face tough competition from West Florida, led by quarterback Peewee Jarrett and defensive lineman John McMullen. Simmons is not taking West Florida lightly and recognizes the speed, toughness, and athleticism typically found in Florida teams.
