Kari Lake, a former candidate for governor of Arizona, is still opposing the NFL’s decision to play the Black national anthem before games. She took to social media to express her dissatisfaction and stated that America has only one national anthem that is color blind. Lake previously refused to stand during the Black national anthem at Super Bowl LVII and received support from Black conservatives. Former NFL player Burgess Owens and former California governor candidate Larry Elder voiced their agreement with Lake, denouncing the idea of a separate anthem based on skin color.
