This summer, Drake announced the forthcoming LP, but its release was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a brief teaser video released on his 34th birthday via his label, OVO Sound, Drake announced his sixth full-length studio album, Certified Lover Boy.

For this outing, set to be released in January 2021, the Canadian chart-topper will most likely be paired up with his in-house producer, Noah “40” Shebib, who also mentioned the album in a podcast interview with Kevin Durant. He said that he and Drake have mainly been working remotely since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
