Following the insurrection led by pro-Trump supporters that took place on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol, there are fears that rioters will roam the streets freely and continue being destructive. Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), released a statement last week in relation to those who attended the riot and caused havoc where five people died.
Thompson is urging the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to use their authorities to add violent “protestors” who participated in the domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol last week to the No-Fly List and keep them off planes and airlines.
