Dozens of unmasked Trump supporters touched the politician with their bare hands
Although President Donald Trump’s latest rally in Georgia is sure to be a super-spreader event, Rep. Vernon Jones decided throw caution to the wind and do a crowd surf.
The Friday event at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon was packed and when Jones was in the crowd, dozens of unmasked Trump supporters touched him with their bare hands.
Jones, a Black Democrat who endorsed Trump’s reelection, gave the crowd a “pep talk,” before diving into the crowd, according to TMZ.
This event is not the first time Jones declared his support for Trump. During the Republican National Convention, he made a surprise appearance as a speaker.
