Juvenile justice advocates have successfully demanded the removal of children from Angola prison in Louisiana. Chief District Judge Shelly Dicks has ordered the minors to be relocated from the adult maximum-security prison by September 15th. The move comes after concerns were raised about the living conditions and safety of the children housed in Angola prison.
