Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network have announced the recipients of this year’s Triumph Awards, which recognize individuals who have made cultural, social, and philanthropic impact. The honorees for 2023 include Tony Award-winning actor Leslie Odom Jr., the cast and producers of the Broadway play Purlie Victorious, Fearless Fund co-founders Arian Simone and Ayana Parsons, the Anti-Defamation League’s Jonathan Greenblatt, U.S. Track & Field’s Max Siegel, and the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival’s Stephanie and Floyd Rance. The awards ceremony, which takes place on October 16th at Jazz at Lincoln Center, aims to celebrate those who use their platform for social change.
