The authors argue that love, when combined with collective action, can be a powerful force for change in Black communities. Black philanthropy is rooted in collective action and has the power to address the wounds of the past and work towards collective liberation. However, systemic racism and inequality must be confronted, and funding disparities must be addressed in order to support Black-led organizations. The authors call on individuals to join in this movement towards a more just and inclusive future.
